Wrapping up my (at home) wine tour of Sicily with a Nero d’Avola and our twist on lasagna. Not bad for a middle of the week evening.
I’ve been getting to try grapes that are new to me (or ones that I have rarely tried) more often of late, and if the Perricone is any indication–I need to do it more often.
We may not be able to spend time with friends and family right now, but I think i know what food and wine pairing I want once we can.
A refreshing wine for the warmer months, the 2018 Tasca d’Almerita Grillo is a great value.
A sub $10 Pinot Grigio that didn’t send me running for the hills? Honestly, I was as surprised as you are.
