A very light white wine, with a very crisp finish. Excellent flavors of citrus, particularly grapefruit. Pairs well with light faire, seafood, and spicy food, or can be served by itself.
Recommendation: For the price, this might actually be one of the best Sauvignon Blancs on the market. This will go great with a meal of light, appetizer style food, or with some well seasoned fish or Thai/Asian/Indian food. For under $10 it’s easy to justify picking up several bottles of this wine, and it will serve you well on a hot summer day. If you’re in the market for a Sauvignon Blanc, this should be on your short list.
